Sheath Dilators

Sheath dilators are sterile medical devices used to enlarge or dilate an access tract into a blood vessel or body cavity so that a larger medical sheath or catheter can be inserted safely and with minimal tissue trauma. They are commonly used in interventional radiology, cardiology, vascular surgery, and other minimally invasive procedures.

Purpose of a Sheath Dilator

Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service

Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) is a cloud-based service that helps organizations recover their IT systems, applications, and data after a disruption such as a cyberattack, hardware failure, natural disaster, or human error. A third-party provider hosts and manages the disaster recovery infrastructure, allowing businesses to restore operations quickly without maintaining a separate recovery site.

How DRaaS Works

A typical DRaaS solution follows these steps:

  1. Data replication: Critical data, applications, and virtual machines are continuously or periodically replicated to a secure cloud environment.

  2. Monitoring: The DRaaS platform monitors the health of protected systems.

  3. Failover: If the primary environment becomes unavailable, workloads are started in the cloud recovery environment.
